Our Services in Schools

School-based site coordinators empower students to stay in school through individualized access to needed resources, and ongoing encouragement and guidance to build confidence to reach their potential and achieve their dreams.

Communities In Schools of Kent recruits, trains and places mentors in schools in the Kent School District. In-depth training includes activity ideas, safety information for mentors and students, school district policy, an overview of learning styles and appropriate conversation topics for various age groups.
The site coordinators at Communities In Schools of Kent fill a pivotal role as the single point of contact working inside the school building to provide integrated student services.
